

Outreach & Community
Days such as International Women's Day, Mother's Day, Cancer Day, Menstrual Hygiene Week, and Lactation Week are observed by spreading awareness to students, patients, and within the community. Outreach activities by way of free medical camps, health awareness talks, screening camps, free distribution of sanitary products, and iron supplements are carried out.
Different activities are planned with the intention of spreading awareness in the community as well as training students to further the cause.
Mother's Day Health Talk
Mother's Day 2022A health awareness talk was conducted by Dr. Trupti M. Deorukhkar & Dr. Kanika Sabharwal. Organized by Smt. Chandaben Mohanbhai Patel Homoeopathic Medical College in collaboration with the foundation of Humanisation for the women of Khandroli Village in Maharashtra. The talk highlighted antenatal care focusing on nutrition, exercise, high-risk pregnancy, danger signs and symptoms, nutrition advice for children, alarming signs for seeking medical advice, and contraception.
Menstrual Health Campaign
May 2018 - June 2023A campaign initiated to spread awareness on Menstrual Health. During the week-long events, health awareness talks were conducted with Dr. Trupti Deorukhkar and Gynaecologist Dr. Rane. Sanitary napkins were distributed for free and the Red Dot Initiative was discussed. A dedicated talk on Menstrual Hygiene using audio-visual aids was also conducted at the A. D. Edal Behram girls' hostel.
International Women's Day Health Camp
March 14, 2020A completely free health camp was organized for women providing homoeopathic consultations, health checkups, and medicine for a week, along with Pap smear tests at a subsidized rate. The Vasantha Memorial Trust (NGO team) along with their dedicated volunteers and a gynaecologist joined in to make the medical camp highly successful.
